Maya Torralba is Kiowa, Comanche, and Wichita. She lives in Anadarko, Oklahoma with her husband Brian Daffron and their three children, Chado, Matthias, and Kateri. She founded the Anadarko Community Esteem Project (ACEP) as her Young People For Fellowship project in 2008 and has since continued as its director.
